Who handles your information
BLOCKHAT SARL operates this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through its forms. Our registered office is 276, Boulevard Ibn Tachefine, 3ème étage, Casablanca, Maroc (RC 626717, Casablanca; ICE 003507957000035). For privacy enquiries, email contact@blockhat.io.
Information collected and why
- Quote enquiries: your name, email, chosen contact method and contact details, country, requested service, and message. These fields are required by the enquiry form so we can assess and respond to your request.
- Technical information: an IP address when provided by our hosting infrastructure, and browser, device, and operating-system information derived from your browser's request. These details accompany enquiries and may also appear in operational logs used to operate and troubleshoot the service.
- Newsletter subscriptions: your email address and name, required by the subscription form to manage and send the newsletter you request. Newsletter signup is separate from requesting a quote.
Please do not include private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or unnecessary personal information in a message.
Who receives the information
Enquiries are processed through our backend service and sent to our team's configured Telegram recipients as notifications. Those notifications include the enquiry and its technical information. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through our Ghost-based blog and newsletter service. Hosting and other providers supporting these services may process information needed to operate them.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. Contact us if you need information about the providers or processing locations relevant to your enquiry. Third-party services may process information outside Morocco; the applicable arrangements depend on the services involved.
External resources and cookies
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and country-flag images from flagcdn.com. Your browser connects to these services when those resources are loaded, which discloses connection information such as your IP address. External links, including our blog and social channels, may use their own cookies and have their own privacy practices.
The quote and newsletter forms on this website do not require an account. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Contact us with questions about technologies used on the site.
Keeping your information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, manage an ongoing business relationship or subscription, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Retention can differ between our backend, notification services, operational logs, and backups. You can contact us to request deletion or ask about retention for your records; some information may need to be kept for legal obligations or ongoing claims.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, and deletion where applicable. You may also object to processing on legitimate grounds under applicable law. Send requests to contact@blockhat.io; we may need to verify your identity before acting.
To stop receiving the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or contact us. This does not affect our ability to respond to a separate project enquiry. For information about data-protection rights in Morocco or to raise a concern, visit the CNDP.
Security and changes
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us before sharing sensitive project material so we can discuss an appropriate channel.
We will publish updates to this policy on this page and revise the date above. For questions about this policy, contact contact@blockhat.io.
